Terms for how commissions are paid to you: tags, attribution, and product data.
- Affiliate commission
- The cut a retailer pays you when a visitor you referred makes a purchase. With usebravery, links carry your own partner tag, so commissions are paid to you.
- PA-API
- Amazon's Product Advertising API, the official source of product data and prices. A managed proxy fills your catalog under your tag until your own access is approved.
- Amazon Associates
- Amazon's official affiliate program. Your account, the partner tag that ties sales to you, and the commission those sales earn all live here; Amazon pays it out on its own schedule and at its own rates.
- Associate tag
- The short tracking ID Amazon adds to your links; it is what ties a sale back to your account. We embed your own tag for each market, so the commission goes to you, never to us.
- Attribution window
- The 24-hour window after a visitor clicks your Amazon link in which their purchase counts toward your tag. It is the window for crediting a sale, not the time it takes to get paid.
- Cross-market matching
- Linking the same product across the US, UK, and DE marketplaces, so each visitor sees their local marketplace, at the local price, with your tag for that market. Comes with multi-market plans.
