Attribution window
The 24-hour window after a visitor clicks your Amazon link in which their purchase counts toward your tag. It is the window for crediting a sale, not the time it takes to get paid.
When someone clicks an Amazon link on your site, Amazon opens a 24-hour window. Anything eligible they buy in that window is credited to your tag, even if it is not the exact product they clicked: they might click a watch and walk out with a coffee maker, and both count. Once the window closes, a later purchase no longer counts. Do not confuse the two clocks: this is only the window in which a sale is credited to you; the money arrives separately, on Amazon's own schedule, once your account clears its payout threshold.
