Panel tour: getting to know the menus
A quick walk through the panel: the three sidebar groups on the left, and the two site buttons in the top bar. Learn where everything lives so nothing feels hidden on day one.
The panel is your control centre. It is where you manage your plan, your credits, your domain, and your account. Your actual store content lives in a separate place (the site admin), which you open from the top bar. This tour shows you where each thing is so you never have to hunt for it.
The left sidebar: three groups
The menu on the left is split into three labelled groups. Read them top to bottom and you have the whole panel.
- Look at the top group, labelled Site. It holds Overview (your main dashboard), My sites, Connections (integrations like Amazon tags and analytics), Domain and publishing, and Updates.
- Look at the middle group, labelled Plan and credits. It holds Plan and billing, Credits and usage, and Invoices. If the invite programme is active for your account, an Invite entry also appears here.
- Look at the bottom group, labelled Settings. It holds Account and team, and Notifications.
The Overview badge
When you still have open setup tasks, the Overview item shows a small number badge. That count is the setup steps you have left to finish. When you complete them all, the badge disappears.
The account menu at the bottom
At the very bottom of the sidebar is your account button (your initials and name). Click it to open a menu with Account and team settings, Language, a Help menu, and Sign out. The Help menu is also where the Help Centre and Support now live.
The top bar: two site buttons
Across the top you will see the page title on the left and, on the right, up to two buttons that act on your live site.
- Open preview: opens your storefront so you can see it exactly as a visitor would.
- Admin panel: signs you straight into your own site admin (no second login), where you manage products, content, and site settings.
Frequently asked questions
Where did the Help Centre and Support go?
They moved into the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Click your name, then open the Help menu, and you will find both the Help Centre and Support there.
What is the difference between the panel and the admin panel?
The panel (where you are now) is for your account, plan, credits, domain, and billing. The admin panel is your site's own back office for products and content. You reach it from the Admin panel button in the top bar.
What does the number badge next to Overview mean?
It is the count of setup steps you still have open. As you finish each step the number goes down, and it disappears once everything is done.
Why do I not see the Invite item in my menu?
The Invite entry only appears when the referral programme is active for your account. If it is off, the item is hidden, which is normal.
