Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy explains the standards that apply to the content and conduct of everyone who uses the usebravery platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every customer, to anyone acting under a customer's account, and to every site we host.
The policy exists to keep the platform lawful, safe, and reliable for all customers and for the visitors to the sites we host. By using the service you agree to comply with this policy and to ensure that your site and your activity remain within it at all times.
Where this policy refers to your site or your content, it includes products, text, images, configuration, and anything else you publish or transmit through the service.
Prohibited content
You must not use the service to host, publish, or distribute content that is illegal or that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party, including copyrighted works, trade marks, and confidential information you are not authorised to use.
You must not publish any sexual content involving minors, which is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities, nor any adult, hateful, harassing, or violent content where it is unlawful or where it breaches the rules of the affiliate programmes or platforms you rely on.
You must not distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code, nor any deceptive or fraudulent material, including misleading product claims, fake reviews, or counterfeit goods.
You must not promote goods, services, or claims that cannot lawfully be advertised, including those subject to legal restrictions you do not meet, and you must ensure that all claims you make are accurate and substantiated.
Prohibited conduct
You must not send spam or other unsolicited bulk communications through or in connection with the service, and you must comply with applicable laws on electronic marketing.
You must not abusively scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the infrastructure or with the systems of our providers, nor attempt to circumvent the limits of your plan, security controls, or technical protections.
You must not resell, sublicense, or make the service available to third parties without our permission, nor impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
You must not manipulate affiliate programmes, including through cookie stuffing, incentivised or automated clicks, self-referrals, or any other technique that breaches a programme's terms or is designed to generate commissions improperly.
Affiliate programme rules
You must comply with the terms and policies of Amazon Associates and of any other affiliate programme you use, and with all applicable advertising and disclosure laws, including the rules of regulators such as the ASA in the United Kingdom and the FTC where its rules apply to you.
You must use only your own approved associate tags and accounts, and you must not use tags or accounts belonging to others or that you are not authorised to use. Product data is retrieved through the Amazon Product Advertising API under your own associate tag.
You must provide accurate product information, keep pricing and availability claims consistent with programme requirements, and make the affiliate, sponsorship, and material-connection disclosures required by law and by the programmes you participate in, in a clear and conspicuous way.
Security
You must report any security vulnerability you discover responsibly and promptly through the contact channels below, and you must not publicly disclose it before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address it.
You must not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform or any related system, nor attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server, or data, nor breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure.
You are responsible for protecting your own credentials, your email inbox, and any authentication device, and for enabling the security features we provide, including TOTP two-factor authentication. You must notify us promptly of any suspected compromise of your account.
Enforcement
Where we believe this policy has been breached, we may take action that is proportionate to the violation, including issuing a warning, removing content, suspending features, suspending your account, or terminating the service.
For serious violations, including unlawful content or conduct that threatens the security or integrity of the platform or other users, we may act immediately and without prior notice. We may also cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities and disclose information where lawfully required.
Fees paid for periods affected by a suspension or termination resulting from a breach of this policy are not refundable. Action we take under this policy is without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.
Reporting abuse
If you become aware of content or conduct on the platform or on a site we host that may breach this policy or the law, please report it to us through our contact page or by email at [email protected], with enough detail for us to identify and assess the issue.
We will review reports we receive and take appropriate action, which may include investigating, contacting the customer responsible, removing content, or escalating to the relevant authorities.
Reporting an issue does not create any obligation on us to take a particular action, and where a site is operated by a customer as the controller of that site, we may refer your report to that customer and assist them as their processor.
