Connect your Amazon Associates tag
Add your Amazon Associates tracking tag in your panel so every product link earns you commission.
Your affiliate tag is how Amazon knows a sale came from your site and pays you the commission. Until you connect it, your links still work, but the earnings are not attributed to you. This is the single most important step to set up, so let's get it done.
What you need first
You need an approved Amazon Associates account for each market you sell in. Your tag looks something like yourname-21. Note that tags are per market: your US tag, UK tag, and German tag are all different strings, and each one comes from that country's Associates dashboard.
- UK commission comes from the Amazon.co.uk shop and uses your amazon_uk tag.
- US commission comes from Amazon.com and uses your amazon_us tag.
- Germany (Pro plan only) uses your Amazon.de tag.
Add the tag in your panel
- Open your panel and go to Settings, then Earnings.
- Find the market you want to set up, for example United Kingdom.
- Paste your Associates tag for that market, for example yourname-21.
- Save, then repeat for any other market your plan covers.
- Wait a few minutes: the tag needs a short moment to resolve across your product links.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my Amazon Associates tag?
In your Amazon Associates dashboard for that country, under your tracking IDs. It usually looks like yourname-21.
Why is my tag different for the UK and US?
Each Amazon store is a separate programme, so each market has its own tag. Paste the matching tag into each market's field in Settings, then Earnings.
