What is Bravery, and what did I buy?

A plain-language tour of what your order gave you: a ready-built affiliate site, a preview address to see it, and the two places you work from, the panel that controls your account and the admin that manages your storefront.

3 min

You have just bought a done-for-you affiliate site. This article shows you, in plain language, exactly what landed in your account, where to look at it, and the difference between the two screens you will work from. No technical background needed.

What your order gave you

Your site is already built and running. It comes with product pages, category pages, articles, and a glossary, all published on a niche and ready for search engines. You do not install anything or manage a server. Bravery runs the hosting, the software updates, and the price refreshing in the background.

  • A hosted site, already built around your niche.
  • A temporary preview address so you can look at it right away.
  • A panel where you control your account and switch things on.
  • An admin where you manage the storefront itself: products and content.

Where to see your site: the preview address

Before you connect your own domain, your site lives at a temporary preview address that ends in usebravery.com. It is fully working, but closed to search engines until you publish. Anyone you send the link to can see it.

  1. Open the panel and land on Overview.
  2. Find the site card, it shows a status of BUILDING, IN PREVIEW, or LIVE.
  3. Press Open preview in the top bar to view the storefront in a new tab.
If the card says BUILDING, your site is still being set up. It usually takes a few minutes, and we email you when it is ready. Open preview becomes available once it is.

The two places you work from

This is the one thing worth learning early. There are two screens, and they do different jobs.

The panel, the screen you are in now, is the control room for your account. From the left menu you handle your Site (Overview, My sites, Connections, Domain and publishing, Updates), your Plan and credits (Plan and billing, Credits and usage, Invoices), and your Settings (Account and team, Notifications).

The Admin panel is where you manage the storefront itself: adding products, generating content, editing brand and category pages, and writing blog posts. You reach it with the Admin panel button in the top bar, which signs you straight in, no second password.

  • Panel: your account, plan, credits, domain, and publishing controls.
  • Admin panel: the store content, your products and pages.

How it earns you money

Your site is an Amazon affiliate site. When a visitor clicks through to Amazon from one of your product pages and buys, Amazon pays you a commission. Bravery does not take a cut of that commission: it goes to your own Amazon Associates account, using your affiliate tag.

  • A visitor lands on your site from Google or social.
  • They click a product and go to the Amazon shop through your affiliate tag.
  • They buy, and Amazon credits the commission to you.
No commission is paid until your own Amazon Associates tag is connected in the panel. Until then, clicks still go to Amazon but the sale is not attributed to you.

What you own versus what Bravery runs

You own the money side: your Amazon Associates account, your affiliate tag, and every commission it earns. If you connect a custom domain, that domain is yours too. Bravery runs the plumbing: hosting, content generation, the price refreshing, and software updates.

New here? Your natural first steps are connecting your Amazon Associates tag and adding your first products. Each has its own short guide in this Help Centre.

Frequently asked questions

Is my site already online?

Yes. It is built and running at a temporary preview address ending in usebravery.com. It is closed to search engines until you publish, so only you and anyone you share the link with can see it for now.

What is the difference between the panel and the admin panel?

The panel controls your account: plan, credits, domain, and publishing. The admin panel manages the storefront content: your products, pages, and posts. You open the admin from the Admin panel button in the top bar.

Do I need technical skills to run this?

No. Hosting, updates, and price refreshing are handled for you. Everything you do, connecting your tag, adding products, generating content, is point and click.

Do I have to buy a domain?

Not to get started. Your site works fully on its preview address. Connecting your own domain is what makes it public to search engines and turns it into your own brand.

Does Bravery take a share of my commissions?

No. Commissions are paid by Amazon straight to your own Associates account using your affiliate tag. You pay Bravery for the site and its plan, not a cut of your earnings.
