The setup wizard after you order: all 5 screens
After payment, a short wizard walks you through five screens: confirm your details, add your Amazon tag, confirm your markets and languages, watch your site build, and preview it. You can close the tab at any point and we email you when it is ready.
The moment your payment goes through, the panel opens a five-screen setup wizard. It asks you for two small things, then builds the whole site for you. This guide walks through each screen so nothing surprises you. There is a progress rail at the top of every screen so you always know where you are.
Screen 1: Payment received, confirm your site name
The first screen shows a green Payment received chip and a receipt is sent to your email. Below it is a recap of what you bought: your category, your site name, your plan, and your markets.
- Check the recap. Your category and plan come straight from checkout.
- To change the store name, select Edit next to Site name, type the new name, and select Save. Your web address (subdomain) stays the same even if you rename the site.
- When it all looks right, select Continue.
Screen 2: Add your Amazon Associates tag
This screen asks for one thing: your Amazon Associates tag. This is the short ID Amazon uses to credit commission to you when someone shops through your site. Onboarding collects your US tag here.
- Paste your tag into the Associates tag field. It usually looks like yoursite-20.
- A soft hint tells you whether the tag looks right. It is a guide only and never blocks you.
- Select Connect tag to continue.
Do not have a tag yet? There is an in-page What is this? explainer and a Where do I find my tag? section with directions, plus an Open an account link. If you want to move on for now, select I'll add it later. Your site is still built; no commission is credited until you add the tag, that is all.
Screen 3: Confirm markets and choose languages
Your markets are set by your plan and are shown here as facts, not choices. A lit chip is a market your plan covers; a locked chip shows which plan opens it (Starter covers the US, Plus adds the UK and Germany). Every market arrives translated and priced automatically, so you never translate a line.
- Look over the market chips to confirm what your plan covers.
- Under Site languages, tick the languages you want, up to your plan's limit. English (US) and English (UK) each count as one language.
- If you use more than one language, choose which one is the default with Set as default.
- Select Confirm my selection.
Screen 4: Your site is being built
Now the wizard builds your site and shows a live seven-step checklist: laying the foundation, dressing the design, installing the software, preparing your data, preparing your categories, securing the address, and adding the finishing touches. It usually takes two to three minutes.
- Watch the steps tick over, or do nothing at all. There is nothing you need to do here.
- If you are busy, close the tab. It is completely safe. We email you the moment the site is ready.
- When the build finishes, the wizard takes you to the last screen automatically.
Screen 5: Ready, with a preview
The last screen celebrates that your site is built and shows a preview of it in a browser frame. Your site lives at a preview address (yourname.usebravery.com) and is not public yet. The catalogue is empty until you add products.
- Select Open preview to see your live site in a new tab.
- Select Go to the panel to start adding products, which is the first thing waiting for you.
- If you want your own web address, select How does it work? under Connect your own domain for a short guide, or leave it for later.
To go public later you add products, connect your own domain, then publish. There is no rush; everything waits for you in the panel in whatever order you like.
Frequently asked questions
Can I close the tab during setup?
Yes. On the building screen you can close the tab safely. Your site keeps building on our side and we email you as soon as it is ready. The wizard also remembers where you were, so if you come back it resumes at the right screen.
Do I have to add my Amazon tag right away?
No. On the tag screen you can select I'll add it later and your site is still built. Just note that no commission is credited to you until the tag is connected. You can add it from the panel at any time.
Why can't I choose more markets or languages?
Markets are set by your plan and shown as facts, not choices (Starter covers the US; Plus adds the UK and Germany). Languages are limited to your plan's allowance. A locked market chip shows which plan opens it, and you can upgrade any time from your panel.
Is my site public as soon as setup finishes?
No. After setup your site is built and reachable at a private preview address, but it is not public and the catalogue is empty. To go public you add products, connect your own domain, then publish.
