When your site finishes building, it opens on a preview address that looks like yourname.usebravery.com. You can visit it, click around, and add products, but search engines like Google cannot see it yet. This is on purpose, and this article shows you what the preview address is and how to go public when you are ready.
What the preview address is
The preview address is the *.usebravery.com web address your site is reachable on the moment it is built. It is a private, backstage version: you can see everything, but the site carries a noindex rule, so Google and other search engines are told not to list it. That is why searching for your site name on Google returns nothing yet, and that is normal.
Where to find your preview address
- Open the panel and go to Sites.
- Click your site to open its detail page.
- The preview address is shown at the top, under the site name, as a yourname.usebravery.com link.
- Click the address to open your site in a new tab.
On the site detail page you also see a status banner titled "Your site is live, still backstage." It confirms that you can see the site but search engines cannot, and that every change you make shows on the preview right away.
How to go public
Going public is your decision, and it is a short checklist. In plain terms, fill the site with products first, then connect your own custom domain. There is no separate publish button: connecting your domain is what sends the site public.
- Add at least one product so the catalogue has something to sell (see the add-your-first-product guide).
- Go to Domains, choose Connect a domain, and connect your own custom domain.
- Add the DNS records your registrar asks for, then use the "I added the records, check" button so we can verify them. Your domain request also goes to a short operator compliance review to keep the network clean, and once it is approved and the DNS is verified your site goes public automatically. We email you the moment it is approved.
Once the site is live, the status banner changes to "Your site is live" and shows your public address. From that point the noindex rule is lifted and search engines can start listing your pages.
