Content credits pay for the AI work on your site: blog posts, FAQs, glossary entries, category and brand copy, and answering shopper questions through the on-site advisor. They come as a one-time welcome grant plus any top-ups you buy, and they do not renew monthly the way product-adds do. If credits run low, AI content and chat slow down gently while your site, prices, refresh, and existing content all keep running; the site never goes dark because credits ran out.
