Which markets does my plan cover?

Your plan decides which Amazon shops your site earns from: Starter covers the US, Plus adds the UK, and Pro adds Germany too.

1 min

A market is the Amazon shop your site earns commission from. Each market comes with its own affiliate tag, its own prices, and its own commission. The market is not the same thing as the language your pages are written in, so it is worth knowing exactly which shops your plan unlocks.

What each plan covers

Here is the simple version. The higher the plan, the more Amazon shops your products can link to and earn from.

  • Starter: Amazon US only. Your products link to Amazon.com and earn US commission.
  • Plus: Amazon US and Amazon UK. You add Amazon.co.uk on top of the US shop.
  • Pro: Amazon US, Amazon UK, and Amazon Germany, plus multi-language pages.
A common mix-up: Plus does not include Germany. If you want the German Amazon shop (Amazon.de), you need Pro. Plus stops at the US and UK.

Market is not the same as language

Language is the text your pages are written in, like English or German. Market is the Amazon shop the money comes from. You can write a page in English and still earn from the UK shop. Pro is the plan that adds extra languages, but the market list is what controls where your commission is earned.

Each market needs its own Amazon affiliate tag. Your US tag will not work on the UK shop, so connect a tag for every market on your plan in Settings, then Earnings.

How to check your markets

  1. Open your panel and go to Settings, then Earnings.
  2. Look at the market list shown for your plan (US, or US and UK, or all three).
  3. Confirm a valid affiliate tag is connected for each market listed.
  4. If a market you expected is missing, check whether you need to move up a plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell on Amazon Germany with the Plus plan?

No. Plus covers Amazon US and Amazon UK only. Amazon Germany is available on the Pro plan.

Does adding a language add a market?

No. Adding a language changes what your pages are written in. The market list decides which Amazon shop your commission comes from.
